HomeTech.fm is committed to making our website and podcast accessible to as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technologies.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a wide range of abilities.

What we do

  • Use semantic, keyboard-navigable markup and visible focus styles.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Aim for sufficient color contrast and readable, resizable text.
  • Continue to test and improve accessibility as the site evolves.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and some content, particularly older archived material, may not yet fully meet our target. We welcome feedback and treat accessibility issues as bugs to be fixed.
